The Maritime Museum of Townsville collects, conserves, and interprets objects and stories associated with the region’s maritime history and heritage for the benefit of the local community, schools, and other education groups and tourism. It does this through permanent and temporary exhibitions, education programs, school holiday programs and special guided tours.
