I look forward to my volunteer work with the English Class every Monday morning and seeing everyone who works at the CIC.

Volunteering at CIC is always interesting as you get to meet people from all walks of life and helping the community is rewarding.

I am so pleased to be a part of volunteering with CIC with the other members also. Enjoying their company and helping people is a game changer.

CIC provides a vital service. I work remotely, so volunteering 4 hours a week is a refreshing opportunity to do something different, contributing to the community with other fun, committed people.

I really like volunteering at the CIC because it has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and staff that are kind and patient to everyone. I get plenty of help in gaining work experience and am given opportunities I would never would have thought of getting on my own.

The Community Information Centre is a volunteer-centred organisation. Volunteers are an essential part of our ability to serve the community, assisting at all levels of the organisation from customer service to directory maintenance, tutoring with Learning Links to supporting pop-ups and events.

We support volunteering to meet your mutual obligations through Centrelink, University Social Work Placements, Traineeships, retirement volunteering, upskilling opportunities and more.
