The Townsville SUP Club (ABN 79 286 077 913) was established to promote the sport of stand-up paddling and to create a social network where like-minded people can develop their skills in a supportive environment and build new friendships. The club committee members consist of volunteers who organise events for the public to try SUP, hold Clean up Australia Day events, actively clean out our local water ways and host coaching clinics. All club sanctioned activities are insured through Surfing Queensland.
The Townsville SUP Club also actively supports other social outcomes in Townsville such as Women on Water in collaboration with Surfing Queensland, Get Active programs with the Queensland Government, and various other initiatives with Townsville City Council.
