The Townsville City Council Toastmasters Club is a diverse group of people who want to improve their communication and leadership skills, increase confidence, and boost self-esteem. We meet on the 2nd, 4th & 5th Wednesday of the month, 5.30 – 8pm at the Mayoral Reception Room, Ground Floor, Townsville City Council Administration Building, 103 Walker St, Townsville City. Our meetings are fun and friendly and open to anyone who wishes to come along. Enjoy the speeches, learn something from the evaluations and have fun during the Table Topics (Impromptu speaking). Open to 18+ to attend, we are all at different levels of achievement; however, remember that we were all beginners once.  Toastmasters are all about building better leaders and speakers. Toilet facilities nearby and refreshments are available in the room. Come along and observe proceedings, as a visitor you are not obligated to speak until you decide that you are ready to.
