The Lighthouse is open 5pm to 8am 7 nights per week and staffed Monday to Friday. The Lighthouse is designed to support 10 -17 year old’s, no matter their circumstances or background, and who seeks a safe place during the evening, specifically targeting young people who have offending behaviours or are at risk of offending.
The program is specific for young people who may:
* not have adequate supervision
* not feel safe at home and need a place to go
* be in trouble
* need someone to talk to

Young people who attend are able to access meals, shower facilities and a bed for rest if required. Interactive supervised engagement activities such as sport, fitness and creative programs are included. QPS personal are also able to divert young people to the programs in the evenings.
