The Drawing Room on Flinders is located in the Howard Smith Building, a State Heritage Listed location. Built in 1911 the building is important in demonstrating the pattern of Queensland’s history, being surviving evidence in Townsville of the important Queensland economic recovery of the early 20th Century.
The Drawing Room on Flinders offers several spaces for hire. All rooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the historical nature of the building. The space is filled with antiques, artworks adorn the walls.
The Venue is available for boutique weddings, birthday parties, special events. The space caters will for corporate functions including staff meeting, strategic planning sessions. Capacity varies dependant of set-up and style of function.
