Underwater Hockey (UWH) is a unique and exciting fun sport combining speed, skill, and teamwork. A team consists of 6 players equipped with a mask, snorkel, fins, a protective glove, and a short hockey stick aiming to score into the opposite goal. Anyone who can swim can play – at Townsville Tigersharks, our community has members aged 8-70 years!

We are a social Underwater Hockey club with parents joining with their children, making this a family-friendly sport for all generations, and members from different countries, with and without disabilities, with different religions and background.

We play Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8pm (meet at 6.30pm to gear up and warm up) at Long Tan Memorial Pool, Heatley.

BYO mask and fins if you have them. We can provide everything else.
