Registered in 2009, North Queensland Hindu Community Inc., is a formally constituted not for profit organization striving to foster spiritual experience and cultural engagement through educational, religious and cultural and community service activities for the benefit of the Indian and wider Australian community. NQHC aims to brings together everyone who has an appreciation and understanding of the Indian culture and the Hindu way of life. With an emphasis on peace, harmony, lifelong learning and most importantly service to fellow human beings, the organisation aims to create a space to serve the community through its various initiatives
