  • TAIHS is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisation, we are committed to providing culturally appropriate health care that encompasses physical, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and economic well being.

    TAIHS primary health service provides a range of medical and clinical services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in Townsville and the surrounding region.

    Our health services are provided by a dedicated team of Doctors, Indigenous Health Professionals, Nurses, Visiting Specialists, Allied Health Professionals, Administration and Transport personnel.

    We have clinics based in Garbutt, Heatley, Ingham and Charters Towers.
