Michelle’s Ark Animal Rescue Inc is a not for profit Animal & Wildlife Sanctuary founded in 2013.
We are located in Oak Valley on 80 acres of land just outside of Townsville, far north Queensland.

We Rely heavily on Public Donations for the upkeep of the animals and for maintaining their enclosures, Pens, Shelters etc so that they are kept in a Safe environment.

Our Property allows for us to provide adequate space for all the wildlife and animals to roam, socialise and enjoy their lives.
Our dedicated volunteers also strive to look after the animals by feeding, watering, bathing and caring for them with the upmost love and respect.

The Ark is designed to provide a home for wildlife and hundreds of unwanted, abused or neglected animals with a loving and secure home with us at our sanctuary or with you with our Adoption program. We strive to find new loving & caring homes for the animals that meet our strict Adoption Program criteria.

If you have animals that you can no longer provide love & affection for and are needing to find a new home for them then please contact us to arrange for your animal/s to be rehomed to the Ark where we will meet all the animal/s needs until such a time they will be put up for adoption ready for their new homes. We do ask that you bring a food Donation item for the animals at the Ark whether you are wanting to come out for a visit, Celebration, group field trip or having to surrender your animals.
