Everglow is an association incorporated under the Associations Incorporation act 1981 (QLD).

Our central office is in Townsville, Queensland, and we provide services in Townsville, Ingham and Ayr.

For 35 years we have developed a reputation for working in partnership with our clients to provide safe and quality care that is personalised, dignified, respectful and focused on maintaining individual autonomy and community connection.

Everglow provides a variety of services for eligible clients

• Allied Health: access to occupational therapy, physiotherapy, podiatry and social workers.
• Domestic assistance: If you’re finding it harder to manage general housework, you can get support with our domestic assistance services.
• Personal Assistance: including bathing and personal hygiene, grooming
• Meals: meal preparation or assistance to get to the supermarket
• Transport: if you cannot access public transport or drive a car safe convenient transport can be provided
• Social Support: Maintaining an active social life in and outside of your home is the secret to staying young at heart! However, if you’re no longer able to drive or have the ability to travel on your own, keeping in touch with family and friends and remaining a part of you community can be tough.

The wellness program focuses on creating and strengthening individual talents, skills and abilities and establishing and maintaining connections across the community.

In partnership with clients and other community organisations, Everglow Community Care operates the Everglow Wellness Program which focuses on creating and strengthening your talents, skills and abilities, as well as establishing and maintaining connections across the community.

The program offers a range of activities which are tailored to increase or strengthen your health and independence, as well as enhancing community and generational connections.

• Gentle exercise/Movement to Music/Chair Yoga
• Monthly functions
• Crochet Corner, Scrapbooking and Craft, Trivia and Puzzle days and lots more
