QuIHN is a statewide, not for profit, and non-government health service which provides a variety of health services to illicit drug users throughout Queensland.

QuIHN’s Needle and Syringe Program provide sterile injecting equipment and disposal options, referral to health services and information and education aimed at reducing blood borne virus transmission. QuIHN has a 24/7 accessible vending machine with sterile equipment for people unable to attend during open hours.

Peer education sessions aim to support people who inject drugs in Queensland to effectively pass on information about harm reduction and blood borne virus prevention practices throughout their own peer networks.

Through QuIHN’s TMP (Treatment Management Program) we offer free testing, treatment and support for people living with Hepatitis C. We also offer free testing for HIV and Syphilis.

Transportation of clients to TMP Medical appointments and we also offer free delivery of sterile equipment on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
