A civil society group dedicated to furthering the interests of Queensland unit owners. Major stakeholders for strata lot owners (and their tenants), body corporates, owners corporations and executive committees. Liaises with the strata managing agents, Body Corporate Managers and Caretaking and Letting Agents. Lobbies for issues affecting unit owners in Queensland. These representations are undertaken by an unpaid volunteer Executive Committee representing approx 1 million unit owners in QLD.
Provides information to members concerning unit ownership and occupancy for individual members, addresses issues at the level of Body Corporate Committees and Bodies corporate, usually more complex, for Building Members.
Represents unit owners’ interests with the Office of Fair Trading.
Issues a quarterly electronic newsletter and printed yearly magazine.
