PalAssist is a service that is free for anyone who has a life-limiting illness or condition, and/or their families and carers (subject to any costs that may be imposed by a client’s telephone service provider for 1800 number calls).

Available 7am-7pm, 7 days a week.

PalAssist’s charter is to provide accurate information and compassionate support to those dealing with a life-limiting illness.
PalAssist is operated by a team of nursing and allied health professionals, understanding that every person’s journey is different, and offering individualised support and advice to clients.
The service is funded by Queensland Health and provided by the Cancer Council Queensland.  PalAssist is here to provide trusted advice, or simply to listen.
