Creative Australia is the Australian Government’s principal arts investment, development, and advisory body. We champion and invest in arts and creativity to benefit all Australians through an integrated suite of activities such as grants to fund a range of arts activities including the creation of new work, collaborations, touring, productions, exhibitions, performance, publishing, recording, promotion, market development and audience engagement.
Through targeted programs and strategic initiatives, Creative Australia supports the arts sector and leads change where needed. It advocates for the arts sector and delivers original research and analysis to inform policy and strengthen the arts industry. Creative Australia is accountable to the Australian Parliament and to the Government through the Minister for the Arts.
