Vincent State School caters for children from Prep to Year 6.
The Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) caters for children with disabilities or suspected disabilities from birth to pre-prep age.
As part of the Education (General Provisions) Act 2006, principals have the responsibility of assessing an applicant’s eligibility to enrol in a state primary school. The principal may require documentation to confirm eligibility such as a birth certificate or Australian citizenship documents. Some visa holders will be charged fees to attend ECDP.
- Vincent Special Education Program: for primary age students with hearing impairment, students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, students with speech-language impairment and students with intellectual impairment.
Vincent State School is a small school in the middle of Townsville, in tropical North Queensland. There are 7 multi-age classes with a high focus on inclusion. Our students are creative, confident and connected.
