Tec-NQ in Townsville is a not-for-profit organisation.  It is a senior school for trades and work readiness.  Accredited boarding school for students in years 10 to 12 and registered training organisation (RTO). Tec-NQ is responsible for 2/3rds of the school-based apprenticeships in the region.  Trains full time apprentices employed in the automotive, construction, electrical and engineering trades.  Focuses on face-to-face delivery and hands-on practical assessments.  Provides quality trades training for apprentices across North Queensland.
