Donna Foley launched GaragePress in 2009 to collaborate with other artists and to produce experimental works on paper, artist books and prints using traditional and new media. She commenced studies in visual art and design in 1992, culminating in 2007 in research in the semiotics of Australian Graffiti. She works across traditional and digital printmaking and drawing. Donna is a Visual Arts educator at TAFEQ Pimlico and has served on the boards of Umbrella Studio Inc., Townsville and the Print Council of Australia, Melbourne. She is a current member PANQ (Professional Artists North Queensland).
