Unicare comes under the umbrella of JCU EARLY LEARNING CENTRES PTY LTD, which was formed to provide child care services to university staff and students with a vision:
To provide high quality care for the children of JCU Students, staff and wider community.
To provide facilities and infrastructure at all JCU locations for the children of students, staff and the wider community.
The Centres aim to provide educational programs which encourage children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials, and to follow their own interest in the context of their life in the community and the world.
