Nippon Seibukan Dojo is an integrated Dojo providing classes to the community in Goju Ryu Karatedo (Karate), Aikido, Judo, Kendo, Iaido, Jujitsu and Kobudo. The Dojo has been part of the Townsville community since it was established in 1988 and is directly affiliated to its headquarters branch in Japan. The dojo aims to provide members with the values and principles in learning a Traditional Japanese Budo while also providing cultural opportunities and experiences both in Australia and annually when visiting Japan (with opportunities to train).
Classes are suitable for men, women and children (6 years and over). People of all ages and ability are invited to train at the Dojo and experience the Spirit of the Samurai.
Karate and Judo Classes suitable for children 6 – 14 years
Nihon Jujitsu and Toyama Ryu Iaido Classes suitable for adults 18 years and over
New location has recently opened at the Kelso State School Hall for children 6-14 years to learn and practice Judo and Karate held each Monday and Wednesday
