The Townsville Shell Club provides a forum for members to share their interest in and knowledge of shells, whether marine, land or freshwater. Members can be anything from casual beachcombers to professional scientists, and current membership is local, State and Australia wide, and International. We hold monthly meetings, issue a magazine/newsletter, and hold regular events such as the annual Shell Show which is held on the first weekend of the public holidays.
