This Scheme has two available cards, one for the public transport bus service and one for the Magnetic Island Ferry.

All Commonwealth pensioners who reside in the Townsville local government area are eligible for the bus pass and pension cards must be shown to the bus driver.

Only Magnetic Island permanent residents are eligible for the ferry pass, pension cards must be shown when using the vouchers.

The subsidy provides an additional 30% discount on top of the normal 50% Bus Pension Discount.

Cards can be obtained from the Customer Service Counters at Townsville City Council, 103 Walker Street, Townsville and CityLibraries, at 20 Village Boulevard, Thuringowa Central and 4 Petunia Street, Aitkenvale.
