Genie Cluff – Making A Living From An Unforgiving Land
The BRAVE podcast series is a Townsville Community Information Centre initiative that aims to share the inspiring stories of ordinary people from our local community.
Genie Cluff knows a thing or two about hardship. Most of her life has been spent on agricultural properties in the outback areas of western Queensland. It’s meant a life spent battling against the rigours of Mother Nature, with floods and droughts being constant threats to her livelihood. In this episode, Genie provides a bit of insight about what it’s like living off the land.
