Reef Check Australia is a not-for-profit environmental organisation that aims to protect and help rehabilitate Australia’s coral reefs through community education and scientific research.
Engaging the Australian community in coral reef conservation at this unique level, we are part of a global network of volunteers. Volunteers regularly monitor and report on how reef health plays a crucial role locally, regionally, and internationally. We do this by providing highly useful, quantitative monitoring data on present status and trends of coastal marine ecosystems, with a focus on coral and rocky reefs.
