Townsville Medicare Mental Health Centre provides short to medium term support for people experiencing mental ill-health, and emotional distress. This is a free service open 7 days per week with no referral needed. Teams of peer workers and clinical staff work collaboratively to meet people’s needs in a supportive environment.
Townsville Medicare Mental Health Centre has a partnership agreement with Lives Lived Well (alcohol and other drug support) and Townsville Multicultural Support Group.
No referral criteria. People can walk into the centre or call 07 4766 8444 to book in an intake appointment.
