  • A safe place for women providing the following services:

    • Specialist Homelessness support to women 18+ and their children escaping domestic/family violence or at a risk of homelessness.
    • Internet cafe and telephone service
    • Emergency relief when avaliable
    • Crisis counselling and ongoing counselling
    • Counselling for sexual assault, domestic and family violence. women’s health and general issues
    • Information and referral on issues of concern and interest to women
    • Sexual Assault support to Ingham, Charters Towers, Ayr and Townsville Women’s Correctional Centre
    • Sexual Assault Response Team – (24 hour crisis support to victims and those impacted by a sexual assault)

    Support groups include:

    • Domestic and Family Violence (closed group 8 weeks) Wednesday 10:00am -12:00pm
    • Playgroup – Wednesdays 9:30am – 11:30am
    • Sexual Assault Survivors Group (closed group 8 weeks) Tuesdays 10:00am – 12:00pm

    Recreation groups include:

    • Yoga – Tuesday 10am – 11:30am (free)
    • Craft – Friday 9:30am – 11:30am (free)
    • Art Workshop – Friday 1:00pm – 3:00pm (free)
