The Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation Team (MIRT) offers intensive case management support to consumers of the mental health service, providing rehabilitation and recovery programs. MIRT targets consumers with complex mental health and social issues which may result in frequent  lengthy inpatient admissions, poor engagement with services, and/or difficulty with general functioning and community living. The multidisciplinary team offers a combination of clinical and non-clinical support to consumers to address both mental health needs and improve overall quality of life.
Within MIRT is the Transitional Accommodation Support Program (TASP). In addition to the above MIRT services, TASP also provides temporary Department of Housing accommodation to provide stable living conditions in which mental health recovery can progress. Support and training is provided to those consumers who would struggle to maintain a tenancy in the community, and assistance is given to locate appropriate accommodation options in the community for exit from the program. The TASP program is a 6 month program.
