The CORES one day suicide intervention training teaches community people how to identify the early warning signs of someone who may be at risk of self harm or suicide. People are also taught what steps to take once they have identified the person at risk, including what to say, what to do and how to utilise all the available resources. The training also teaches participants how to reconnect people at risk back into their communities. The training is very user friendly, practical and interactive. People do not need any special skills to completes the training successfully. The training has been specially designed to be delivered by the community for the community.
CORES also facilitate a workplace and a school based training. All training is available for anyone 15 years and over. Servicing Townsville & regional areas
