Motionwise uses the Feldenkrais Method® (Feldenkrais) – a universal method for improving human life through better movement, sensation, posture and breathing.
Motionwise offers a process of learning through movement with awareness, leading to improvement of self-image, coordination and action. This approach to enhancing wellbeing can be readily applied to all areas of human achievements including sports performance and the creative arts, as well as in the activities of daily living, recovering from injuries and illnesses, managing neurological conditions, preparing for surgeries, etc. Classes are useful for people who are interested in improving their robustness, biological fitness and adaptability, and in developing their potential in order to more easily pursue their dreams
Classes: 1 hour duration community-based classes or individual sessions (currently held online; to be also offered face-to-face again when regulations permit). Concession rates are available and consideration is given to scholarship applications.
Courses are run by Catherine James, Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®, Certified Bones For Life Teacher®, Authorised Sounder Sleep System™ Teacher and Member of the Australian Feldenkrais Guild Inc since 1992.
