Kate Banville & Joe Mikaele Ah-Kuoi – Stepping Away From Security
The BRAVE podcast series is a Townsville Community Information Centre initiative that aims to share the inspiring stories of ordinary people from our local community.
Kate Banville is a freelance journalist. Joe Mikaele Ah-Kuoi is a mentor for our future leaders through Strive Lane. These titles are fairly new for both of them, as in the last few years, both Kate and Joe have stepped away from secure, successful careers as a newsroom reader and high school teacher, respectively, to chase their passions. In this episode, they talk about what led them to these decisions and how they enacted them while balancing their family commitments.
