After a crisis event, a Community Recovery Hub may be established to assist you

The Crisis Response Directory will give you a range of local services and supports that can help you get back on your feet after a disaster

Personal hardship financial assistance is now available for affected residents in Burdekin Shire and Townsville City Local Government Areas.

If you need to leave your house, and don’t have family or friends that you are able to stay with, there may be Evacuation Centres established.  You can find out by going to the local Emergency and Disaster Dashboard and clicking on the Evacuation Centres button. There may be an Evacuation Centre that is nominated for access with pets.  Please note that conditions apply.
